How to download and install Join Me

PC Software

1. CLICK on the JoinMe.zip link above
   
2. When the Download window appears asking "Do you want to open or save file?", CLICK save
   
3. Choose a location to save the WinZip file.
   
4. Once downloaded, DOUBLE-CLICK the file and extract the contents.
   Note the update will not run from the zip file
   
5. OPEN the extracted folder and DOUBLE-CLICK Setup to start the installation process.
   
6. If you have a previous version installed please UNINSTALL first.
   
7. DO NOThave your device connected during the software install.

MAC Software

1. CLICK on the MAC JoinMe.zip link above
   
2. Follow the prompts to install
3. Join Me MAC has limited functionality. Check for updates regularly.

Important Notes:

1. The PC Software supports Windows Vista, Windows XP (SP2 & SP3)and Windows 2000 (SP4)
   
2. MAC JoinMe supports MAC OS 10.4 or above (only supports internet connection)
3. Please remember to back up all your data (see your User Guide) as replacing Join Me
   will delete all Phonebook and Messages content stored locally on your PC.

How to update your phone software?

1. To download the firmware you must select YES to accept our Terms and Conditions
2. When the Download window appears asking "Do you want to open or save file?", CLICK save
3. Choose a location to save the WinZip file.
4. Once downloaded, DOUBLE-CLICK the file and extract the contents
   Note the update will not run from the zip file
5. OPEN the extracted folder and DOUBLE-CLICK the 'End_User_Tool.exe' file
6. CAREFULLY follow the instructions.
7. Close JoinME before starting the upgrade tool
8. Click the download button once the current phone version is displayed.
9. Connect your handset directly to a USB port on your PC. Do not use a hub.
10. DO NOT insert or remove any USB devices during the upgrade process

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR SOFTWARE UPDATES

1. Enter the code *983*837# to verify the current software version of your handset
   The S/W Version: will be displayed.
2. If the version does not match the software update listed in the table above then an upgrade for
your phone is available.
3. Full instructions are included in the software update pack. Please read the instructions first.
4. The correct JoinMe must be installed for the handset you wish to update.
5. The update tool only supports Windows XP (SP2 & SP3) and Windows 2000 (SP4)
6. Please remember to back up all your data (see your User Guide)
7. USB cable is required.
8. The upgrade tool is not suitable for use with Vista, MAC OS or 64 bit systems
